By downloading Hvil®, you're already on your way to better sleep.
With the sleep diary, you can track how efficiently you sleep every day and gain insight into the severity of your sleep problem.
With a sleep program, you get tailored advice and guidance on how best to improve your chances of getting more and better sleep. This requires access through your employer, organisation or municipality.

Knowledge about sleep is an important part of Hvil®.
That's why you learn how sleep “works” and affects your body, and we can use this knowledge to help you sleep better.
And for the extra curious, Hvil® also includes a knowledge section with easy access to the latest news from sleep research.

With Hvil®, you get access to a sleep diary.
The sleep diary consists of a series of daily questions that give you insight into your sleep. The Hvil®-score shows the severity of your sleep problem. You can follow both continuously as you fill them in. To get your Hvil®-score you need an invitation to Hvil® or a monthly subscription.
For users with access to a sleep program, this data is also used to tailor the program to you.

With a sleep program, you are assigned activities every day to complete in order to increase the likelihood of better and healthier sleep.
We tailor everything to you. Based on your entries, we create a personalised program lasting 9 weeks in total.
You can start for free, but to access the complete programme you need a subscription, or an invitation from your employer, organisation or municipality.

It may sound counterintuitive, but one of the exercises in your sleep program may involve reducing your sleep. The purpose is to build up tiredness, so that you sleep efficiently when you are finally allowed to go to bed.
For this exercise, Hvil® calculates your bedtimes based on your sleep pattern and adjusts them continuously as you progress.

Poor sleep can have many causes, which is why Hvil® also works with your thoughts about sleep.
This is done through exercises based on cognitive behavioural therapy, which help you overcome negative thought patterns to create the best possible foundation for good sleep.

In addition to sleep restriction and cognitive behavioural therapy, Hvil® also includes other exercises, all designed to help you sleep better through understanding and activities.
However, Hvil® is not a quick fix. Overcoming your sleep problems takes both time and active effort.

Currently, the digital sleep program lasts 9 weeks. After that, it's up to you to maintain your new good habits on your own.
Currently, Hvil® still gives you access to the sleep diary and the calculation of a new Hvil®-score, but you no longer have access to the other activities.
We are continuing to work on more ways in which Hvil® can support you in maintaining and optimising your new sleep habits and behaviour.
